Located in Sydney’s heritage-listed Strand Arcade, Niessing has reopened its boutique after a stylish refurbishment. The new space is intimate and showcases the brand’s signature craftsmanship and innovation. A key feature is the Niessing Heritage Wall, which highlights the famous Spannring®. Visitors can also explore a carefully selected collection of wedding rings displayed in large windows that welcome them into the world of this well-known German jewellery brand.
Founded in Germany in 1873, Niessing has built a strong international reputation among luxury jewellery brands. Now, more than 150 years later, Australian customers can enjoy the brand’s unique designs close to home.
Sandro Erl, CEO of Niessing, said the boutique’s redesign blends tradition with modern style. He added that it reflects the company’s commitment to elegance and innovation.
“The Strand Arcade is the perfect location for our Australian flagship store. Our refurbishment respects the building’s historic charm while adding a modern and refined interior that fits Niessing’s design values,” Erl said.
New Collections at Niessing
Customers can discover Niessing’s latest collections, including the Topia Vision line, the Setario Edition in fresh new colours, and new pieces in the iconic Spannring® collection.
The Topia Vision range draws inspiration from surreal landscapes, such as shimmering sea waves, traces of sand, and glowing mega-cities. The Setario Edition in Mocha highlights the season’s popular earthy tones and rich hues.
The Spannring® collection has expanded and offers versatile pieces that suit any style. Whether worn as a delicate necklace or a chic bracelet, these jewellery items are perfect for both special occasions and everyday wear.
A Boutique with a ‘Retail Museum’ Feel
The refurbished boutique introduces a ‘retail museum’ concept, centered around the Niessing Heritage Wall. Wooden display cases, brightly lit, feature the brand’s key collections. On the left side, new large window displays bring in natural light and create an inviting shopping environment from browsing to personal consultations.
Knowledgeable jewellery advisors are available to help customers try on pieces, customise designs, or create bespoke jewellery.
“The Strand Arcade is one of Sydney’s most iconic shopping locations. We want to help visitors create lasting memories here,” said Erl.
“Each person who visits our store is unique. We aim to help them express their emotions and tell their stories through our jewellery.”
