Paula Badosa, the 10th seed at the French Open, is showcasing her talents beyond the tennis court with the launch of her new fine jewelry collection.
Named “Aces,” the collection is the result of Badosa’s collaboration with the 1916 Company, a luxury watch and jewelry brand based in Philadelphia.
Though Badosa was eliminated in the third round of the French Open by Daria Kasatkina, the Spanish player still shone on court, wearing pieces from her collection. The “Aces” collection features three main lines—Vida, Aura, and Alma—crafted in 18-karat white and yellow gold, with diamonds. The pieces are priced between $700 and $6,000.
The Vida and Aura lines are inspired by the sun, a symbol Badosa connects with deeply due to her Mediterranean roots. Now based in Dubai, a city known for its sunny climate, she finds the motif even more meaningful. Both collections feature delicate sunburst designs paired with radiant diamonds.
The Alma line, co-designed with Badosa’s father, pays tribute to her childhood memories. The pieces include detachable diamond chains and tennis racquet motifs, reflecting her lifelong passion for the sport.
