On Monday, international gold prices rose sharply. By Eastern Time, the price of gold rebounded to $3,400 per ounce. Both spot gold and COMEX gold futures increased by more than 2%.
Following the global trend, domestic gold jewelry prices also went up on June 3.
Chow Tai Fook quoted its 24K gold jewelry at 1,020 yuan per gram. This is 22 yuan higher than the 998 yuan per gram price from the previous day.
Laomiao Gold priced its 24K gold jewelry at 1,019 yuan per gram, up 21 yuan from 998 yuan per gram the day before.
Chow Sang Sang listed its 24K gold jewelry at 1,024 yuan per gram. This is 20 yuan more than the 1,004 yuan per gram price from the previous day.
Lao Feng Xiang set its 24K gold jewelry price at 1,018 yuan per gram, which is 18 yuan higher than 1,000 yuan per gram the day before.
