Hong Kong singer Tyson Yoshi and his long-time partner Christy are preparing to begin a new chapter in their lives. After ten years of building a relationship grounded in trust and affection, the couple recently held a pre-wedding photo shoot to celebrate their love. For this occasion, they partnered with renowned Hong Kong jeweller Chow Tai Fook to capture their shared dreams and style through carefully chosen jewellery.
Chow Tai Fook is one of Hong Kong’s most established jewellery brands. Known for its heritage, craftsmanship, and modern design, the brand has earned the trust of generations. It continues to stand out for its commitment to quality and for creating pieces that carry deep emotional and cultural meaning.
For their shoot, Tyson and Christy selected pieces from three of Chow Tai Fook’s signature collections: JOIE, ROUGE, and Bond to Love. Each collection reflects their journey and promises for the future, turning the jewellery into symbols of love, commitment, and individuality.
The JOIE Collection, which features the Chinese character “喜” meaning happiness, includes designs that symbolize protection and joyful union. Its lock motifs, delicate pendants, and “喜” earrings reflect the couple’s deep connection. The pieces, made from yellow gold, pearls, and diamonds, shimmer softly from Christy’s ears to her collarbone, capturing quiet moments of elegance and warmth.
In contrast, the ROUGE Collection explores the meaning of “福” or blessings. Inspired by traditional Chinese window latticework, the pieces combine diamonds, red accents, and clean lines. The result is bold and modern jewellery that maintains a strong cultural identity. Tyson wore pieces from this collection, along with selections from JOIE, adding an element of modern masculinity to his tailored suit.
The Bond to Love Collection blends traditional Chinese wedding symbols with a modern aesthetic. Drawing inspiration from the “Square Ruyi” motif and patterns found in bridal qipao dresses, the collection brings together tradition and simplicity. Christy wore these pieces with natural grace, showcasing jewellery that mirrors the strength and tenderness in their relationship.
Throughout the photo shoot, the couple used their jewellery to tell their story. Christy wore simple silhouettes that allowed the brilliance of the gold, pearls, and diamonds from the JOIE Collection to shine. She also wore sapphire and diamond accents, adding rich blue tones that highlighted her strength and elegance. These deep colors offered a striking contrast to the softness of the diamonds.
Tyson, dressed in a sleek suit, used jewellery from ROUGE and JOIE to express a masculine take on traditional artistry. His confident appearance proved that grooms can wear statement pieces with style and meaning.
Every piece worn by the couple carries a message of love and tradition. Chow Tai Fook’s designs blend cultural significance with contemporary beauty, turning each item into a lasting heirloom. Whether worn on their wedding day or kept as treasured memories, the jewellery marks a love story set to endure — a story built on heritage, meaning, and the promise of forever.
