A jewelry store in Chicago’s South Loop was targeted in a “smash-and-grab” burglary on Tuesday afternoon, according to police.
Officers said four suspects entered Kay Jewelers, located at the corner of Canal Street and Taylor Street, around noon.
The suspects broke the glass display cases and took jewelry from the store, police stated.
ABC7 obtained video showing the shattered glass cases as police conducted their investigation.
Chicago Police Department reported the suspects fled south on Canal Street in an unknown vehicle.
No one was injured during the incident. At this time, no arrests have been made.
