Jenna Clifford, a well-known businesswoman and jewellery designer, has passed away. Her three daughters, Shayna, Chanelle, and Summer, announced her death on Tuesday night. She was surrounded by family and close friends at the time.
In their statement, the daughters said, “It is with the heaviest hearts that we share the news that our beloved mother, Jenna Clifford, has died.” Earlier this year, Clifford was diagnosed with advanced cancer.
She faced the illness with courage, grace, dignity, strength, and gratitude. Sadly, her condition was very serious. Both she and her family knew that her time left with them would be short. On the evening of May 20, 2025, she passed away peacefully, wrapped in the love of her family.
In recent weeks, the family received a great deal of support and kindness from many people who cared for Jenna. They thanked the doctors, nurses, and medical staff at Morningside Medi Clinic for their compassionate care. They also expressed gratitude to everyone who sent messages, shared memories, prayed, and offered support during this difficult time.
According to GoodThingsGuy, Jenna Clifford’s journey in jewellery design began in the 1980s. Through hard work and passion, she officially started her brand, Jenna Clifford Designs, in 1992. Since then, she became an important figure in the industry.
Clifford was also known as a strong supporter of women’s rights and equality. While her bespoke jewellery attracted clients from around the world, her children say her greatest legacy is her joyful spirit of giving.
The family shared that they will hold a small, private funeral soon. They also plan to organize a memorial gathering in Johannesburg to celebrate Jenna’s life with friends and loved ones. Details about the memorial will be shared later.
They added, “We will always treasure the memory of our precious mother as she was – beautiful, loving, and full of life.”
