Mara Paris has launched its first high jewellery collection, bringing a fresh, laid-back feel to traditionally formal design. Known for its modern and unconventional style, the brand has spent the last decade building a reputation for jewellery that surprises with its form and placement—pieces that wrap, twist, and climb the body in unexpected ways.
Founder Ayça Özbank Taskan created the collection as part of the brand’s anniversary celebration. Drawing on her experience at Natura Forma, a design school that focuses on shaping 18K gold and diamonds into bold, geometric forms, Taskan introduces a new chapter in the brand’s evolution.
The new collection features rings, lip rings, clip earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. Each piece embraces natural lines and subtle imperfections. Rather than relying on symmetry, the designs use flowing gold curves, often adorned with diamonds, to create an organic, relaxed style rarely seen in high jewellery.
Taskan’s path to this collection began with her studies in architecture at the University of Architecture in Venice. She later travelled through Italy and Scandinavia, where she developed the brand’s signature design language—one that blends structure with softness and precision with ease.
This debut into high jewellery reaffirms Mara Paris’s commitment to creating pieces that feel both luxurious and wearable, challenging the boundaries of traditional craftsmanship while staying rooted in artistic integrity.
