Recently, TV actress Hina Khan married her long-time partner Rocky Jaiswal in a private wedding that captured the hearts of people on the internet. Although the wedding was low-key and private, one detail stood out – her huge diamond engagement ring, which quickly became a hot topic on social media.
Hina and Rocky’s romance began in 2008 when they met on the sets of Hina’s debut TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Despite keeping their relationship private for years, their love grew stronger with each passing day. Hina collaborated with designer Manish Malhotra for her bridal look. She wore a soft opal green handloom saree paired with a light pink blouse, both pieces embellished with intricate zardoz embroidery. The saree was woven in gold and silver threads in ancient motifs and embellished with a traditional kiran patti border. A touching custom detail was also stitched into the fabric – the couple’s names were embroidered in Sanskrit, alongside an infinity symbol, symbolizing their everlasting union.
To complete her elegant bridal look, Hina wore a delicate pink scalloped veil and accessorized with simple jewellery, including a diamond Maang Tikka, a delicate choker and a Kundan bracelet. Her mehendi also showed a unique style, opting for a simple lotus pattern instead of a traditional motif. Her palms and soles of her feet were embellished with delicate floral designs, adding a modern, artistic touch.
Sharing her joy with fans on Instagram, Hina wrote, “We come from different worlds but have built a world of love… Today, our union is sealed forever in love and law. We, as husband and wife, pray for your blessings and wishes.” The wedding may have been small, but it was filled with love, meaning, and quiet luxury.
