Nina’s Jewellery, founded in 1965 in Kununurra near the Argyle Mine—the source of the world’s finest pink diamonds—has announced the closure of its wholesale division. The company, now headquartered in Dunsborough, about three hours from Perth, revealed that the decision will take effect at the end of June 2025.
In June 2024, Nina’s Jewellery launched its first wholesale range in over 50 years. However, just a year later, the company has decided to shut down the division.
“We regret to inform you that due to unforeseen circumstances, the wholesale division will cease operations at the end of June 2025,” the company said in a statement. “This is an extremely difficult decision, influenced by various factors. It is important to note that this closure is not a reflection of the efforts of our dedicated team or the positive reception we received over the past year.”
The statement continued, “We are deeply grateful to our stockists, buying groups, and industry media for their unwavering support. Your interest, insights, and warm welcome have been invaluable, and it has been an honor to share our passion and products with you.”
Despite the closure of its wholesale operations, Nina’s Jewellery will honor all existing orders and continue to provide warranty support, training, and assistance with product issues to its stockists. The company’s retail division will remain unaffected and continue to operate as usual.
