The 2025 Couture Design Awards took place recently at the Wynn Las Vegas, recognizing outstanding fine jewelry design as part of The Couture Show, a major annual trade event for jewelry and watch professionals.
The awards ceremony brought together designers, brands, artists, and their teams from around the world. Held at the Encore Theater, the evening fostered a sense of community and support, regardless of who took home a trophy. The Couture Design Awards are widely regarded as the most prestigious jewelry design honors in North America and rank among the top globally.
Participation in the competition is open to designers, artists, and brands invited to exhibit at The Couture Show.
Winners and finalists were chosen in 12 categories by a jury made up of professionals from across the jewelry and watch industries. Additional awards included “Editor’s Choice,” selected by members of the press, and “People’s Choice,” voted on by the show’s retail partners.
One of the night’s special honors, the Cindy Edelstein Award, was given to Jeff Feero, managing partner at Alex Sepkus Jewelry Manufacturing. He was recognized for his efforts in discovering and mentoring design talent.
Another highlight was the presentation of the new “Hidden Gem” award to Jan Mohr, Couture’s longtime retailer liaison, who is retiring after this year’s show. The award honors retail professionals who demonstrate kindness, respect, and professionalism—even under pressure. Organizers praised Mohr for her grace and dedication to the industry.
“In such a chaotic world, it’s wonderful to come together and recognize the strength and joy this community brings,” said Couture director Gannon Brousseau during his opening remarks. “After all the hard work you’ve put into making this event and industry so special, this is a well-earned moment to celebrate.”
