Emerging Australian fashion jewellery brand Harli + Harpa has named a new chief executive officer as the competition in the retail jewellery sector intensifies.
The company has appointed Armando Pedruco as its new CEO, according to a report by Ragtrader. Pedruco joins the brand after an eight-year tenure at Accent Group, where he served as executive general manager for several footwear chains including Platypus Shoes, Hype DC, and Subtype. Prior to that, he held the role of global general manager of sales at Lovisa.
Harli + Harpa was launched in late 2023 by former Lovisa CEO Shane Fallscheer. The brand has grown quickly, now operating over 30 stores across Australia and New Zealand.
Speaking about his new role, Pedruco expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity.
“I’m very excited about the opportunity to work with Shane again and help him build on what is already a fantastic business,” he said.
“After spending several weekends in stores over the last eight weeks, I can see that customers are loving the product, the team, and the store design. Shane is an experienced retailer and understands this category very well, so I’m confident that together we can build a very successful business.”
The leadership change comes after the departure of Harli + Harpa’s first CEO, Cass Fuller. Fuller has taken legal action against the company, alleging unpaid wages and superannuation after her dismissal in December 2024.
The appointment of Pedruco signals a new phase for the young jewellery brand as it seeks to strengthen its position in a competitive retail market.
