Tyla made a striking appearance at the Met Gala on Monday. She embraced the event’s “Tailored For You” theme by wearing a custom white Jacquemus gown with black pinstripes. The design paid tribute to traditional men’s tailoring. This was Tyla’s second time attending what many call the biggest night in fashion.
While Tyla has previously worked with emerging stylists like Katie Qian and Ronnie Hart, she chose Zendaya’s renowned stylist, Law Roach, for this year’s Met Gala. Law Roach is famous for his bold and stylish looks that often make headlines.
Together, Tyla and Roach created a stunning look with the Jacquemus gown. It was paired with over 30 carats of diamonds provided by Pandora. These diamond accessories drew inspiration from menswear, particularly the tradition of pairing suits with elegant watches. The jewelry combined Pandora’s Me chain and Talisman collection, featuring a six-carat lab-grown diamond heart pendant. It also included a custom diamond-set monocle with a special magnifying lens.
Just weeks before the event, Pandora announced Tyla as their newest ambassador. She will represent the brand’s full jewelry collection, including its famous charm pieces. A Pandora spokesperson said, “We are proud to welcome Tyla to the Pandora family. We celebrated her first Coachella performance with her wearing Pandora jewelry. Her creativity, individuality, and powerful storytelling perfectly represent our brand.”
