Marko Martinović, a resident of Podgorica, was arrested late last night in connection with a robbery at a jewelry store in the city center.
This information was unofficially confirmed to Vijesti by the Higher State Prosecutor’s Office (VDT).
Martinović is scheduled to be questioned today at the State Prosecutor’s Office.
In a related development, police detained Mladen Janković last night. Janković is known as the former bodyguard of Goran Đuričković, a slain leader of the Škaljari clan. His detention was confirmed by his defense lawyer.
The robbery took place on Friday afternoon at the Mikel jewelry store located on Miljana Vukova Street in Podgorica. Two suspects used pepper spray on female employees before stealing a significant amount of gold.
