After three successful years in San Rafael, Silverwork Studios, a popular DIY jewelry workshop in the Bay Area, is relocating to Sausalito. The new studio is located at 305 Caledonia Street. This move brings an inspiring and easy-to-reach space for locals and visitors to create their own custom jewelry.
Amy Fitzgerald, co-founder and owner of Silverwork Studios, explained the decision. “Our clients told us they wanted us closer to San Francisco, and Sausalito seemed like the perfect choice,” she said. “You can spend a day taking the ferry to this beautiful town, make your own jewelry, and then enjoy one of the many great local restaurants.”
The new studio is a short walk from the Sausalito ferry terminal and has plenty of parking nearby. It keeps all the features guests love about Silverwork Studios. It also adds some new touches. For example, there is now a private garden patio. This outdoor space is ideal for bachelorette parties, birthdays, girls’ nights out, or romantic dates. Guests can join guided jewelry-making workshops inside and then relax outside, enjoying Sausalito’s natural beauty and artistic vibe.
Silverwork Studios also offers permanent jewelry, a growing trend. Clients can make custom-fitted, clasp-free bracelets or anklets that are welded on for a lasting look. The studio has a large charm bar where customers can design their own charm bracelets.
The studio has built a loyal following and earned hundreds of five-star reviews. It is known for its personalized approach and warm, welcoming atmosphere. Workshops suit beginners and teach basic soldering skills, giving guests the exciting chance to work with molten metal.
With the move to Sausalito, Silverwork Studios begins a new chapter. It is now closer to San Francisco and ready to welcome new and returning guests.
Silverwork Studios opens at 305 Caledonia Street, Sausalito, on May 31, 2025.
