The 44th edition of Oroarezzo, one of Italy’s leading gold and jewelry trade shows, will take place from May 10 to 13 in Arezzo, Italy. The event will highlight major topics such as tariffs, rising gold prices, and the outlook for Italian-made jewelry.
Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), the event’s organizer, has made several updates to the show. These include a redesigned product offering, a revised floor layout, and a new central theme for 2025. Matteo Farsura, IEG’s global exhibition manager for jewelry and fashion, confirmed that the show will feature seven exhibition areas and will host around 400 exhibitors.
Oroarezzo is known as a key platform for the global gold and jewelry market. Each year, the event is held at the Arezzo Fiere e Congressi convention center. It serves as a major showcase for Italy’s design and manufacturing skills and gives visitors a chance to meet with industry leaders.
“We are happy to welcome American buyers to Oroarezzo,” said Farsura. “It’s an important event for U.S. wholesalers and distributors who value the quality of Italian manufacturing. The show connects global buyers with the best of Made in Italy goldsmithing. High-quality craftsmanship and personalized services are the trademarks of Oroarezzo.”
The theme for the 2025 show and its Premiere jewelry competition is “Mirror of Time.” The idea focuses on how jewelry tells stories and preserves personal memories. The theme was created by Beppe Angiolini, the show’s art director and jury president.
Farsura said that Oroarezzo is more than just a trade show. “It’s an international hub for innovation,” he noted. “Professionals can discover new trends, connect with others, and find ideas to stay ahead in a fast-changing market. Under the idea of ‘shaping jewelry ideas,’ the event supports businesses that want to build white-label collections or create fully customized designs.”
Oroarezzo 2025 will also feature educational seminars. One key event is a signature talk on May 12 titled “Maximalism and Competitiveness.” This session will explore the challenges and opportunities ahead for the fashion accessories sector. Experts will also discuss how rising gold prices and other costs may influence design in the coming year.
Another important seminar is titled “Markets, Sustainability, Tariff Barrier, and Supply Chains: Analysis and Outlook for the Sector in 2025.” It will bring together economists and jewelry professionals to talk about the effects of U.S. tariffs and other economic issues on the global jewelry trade.
Last year’s Oroarezzo attracted 360 exhibitors and saw a 6.5% rise in attendance. Visitors came from 109 countries, and international attendance increased by 12%, according to IEG.
In addition to the main show, a cultural highlight is planned for this year. On May 12, attendees can enjoy a performance of Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi at the Petrarca Theater in Arezzo. The opera will be performed by the Orchestra of Tuscany and is open to exhibitors, buyers, and event partners.
