Partridge, a renowned jewellery institution in New Zealand, has expanded its presence with the opening of a new boutique in Auckland. The store is dedicated to showcasing the brand’s own exquisite jewellery designs, adding to its long history in the industry.
While the family-owned business has long been known for offering prestigious luxury brands such as Chopard, Fabergé, Rolex, and Patek Philippe, the new boutique focuses on the creations of Partridge’s in-house team of expert jewellers.
Founded 160 years ago, Partridge has had four out of five generations actively involved in jewellery-making, with the family tradition at the heart of the business. Grant Partridge, the current owner and fifth-generation family member, inherited a deep passion for jewellery and gemmology. In the last 25 years, watches have also become a key part of the brand’s offerings, making Partridge a must-visit destination for horology enthusiasts in New Zealand.
The new store, located on Queen Street in Auckland, features a range of jewellery designed by senior designer Andrea Lethiers, with oversight from Grant Partridge and production manager Sylvia Halim. The pieces are crafted by a skilled team of jewellers and stone setters.
Shoppers can expect a variety of pieces, from everyday luxury items such as diamond studs, tennis bracelets, necklaces, and stacker rings to stunning engagement and wedding rings. The boutique also offers one-of-a-kind creations.
In addition to diamonds, the collection features vibrant gemstones like sapphires, rubies, emeralds, tourmalines, and aquamarines. Rare naturally coloured diamonds, including Argyle pink, yellow, champagne, and cognac, are also prominent in the selection.
For those seeking something truly unique, Partridge offers a bespoke service across all of its stores. Customers can collaborate with the design team to create special pieces, with access to rare and precious stones.
The boutique’s elegant interior was designed by Hannah Davies, who also designed the interiors for Partridge’s Queenstown location.
The new Queen Street boutique is Partridge’s ninth store in New Zealand, with six locations in Auckland and additional stores in Wellington, Christchurch, and Queenstown.
