Malabar Gold & Diamonds, the world’s fifth-largest jewelry retailer, has opened its second showroom in Canada. The new store is located at the Payal Business Centre in Surrey, British Columbia. Niki Sharma, Deputy Premier and Attorney General of British Columbia, officially inaugurated the showroom.
The Surrey showroom offers more than 20,000 jewelry designs. These include pieces made from 18K, 21K, and 22K gold, as well as diamonds. Customers can find bridal, occasion, daily, and office wear jewelry from over 25 exclusive brands. The store also provides customized jewelry design services and has ample parking for visitors.
Malabar Group Chairman M.P. Ahammed said the expansion shows the company’s growing presence in the global jewelry market. He added, “Our goal is to offer excellent shopping experiences based on quality, service, and trust. We aim to become the world’s number one jewelry retailer.”
This Surrey showroom follows the company’s first Canadian store, which opened in Mississauga in 2023. Shamlal Ahamed, International Operations Managing Director, said the brand has quickly become an important player in Canada’s jewelry market.
“With the second showroom, we are closer to our customers. This helps us celebrate life’s special moments with timeless elegance,” said Ahamed. He also announced plans for rapid growth. The next locations will be Ajax, Calgary, Vancouver, and Montreal.
To celebrate the new store opening, Malabar Gold & Diamonds is offering a special exchange deal. Customers can bring old gold jewelry, bought anywhere, and exchange it for new 22K gold designs with zero deductions. This offer is valid until June 30, 2025.
Malabar Gold & Diamonds is known for its wide global presence, with 402 showrooms in 13 countries.
