Rick’s Jewelry in Minot is more than just a place to buy jewelry. It is a hub for creativity, craftsmanship, and history. From repurposed silverware to sparkling brooches and wedding rings, this store offers something special for everyone.
“We are a full-service jewelry store,” said Tracy Belzer. “We do custom repairs, custom designs, and redesigns. We also have vintage pieces, which is my favorite part.”
One of their unique offerings is jewelry made from antique silverware. They turn old spoons and forks into beautiful rings and bracelets.
Belzer described a current project: “We have a Tiffany fork that is stunning. It is heavy and made of a lot of silver. I’m excited to see how the bracelet turns out.”
Some silverware jewelry can be made in as little as an hour. However, bridal ring redesigns and custom necklaces take more time. Customers can even create their own wedding rings by choosing magnetic stones to fit their style.
“Little girls dream about their wedding ring,” said Belzer. “They come in, try on a band, and swap different stones to find the perfect look.”
Rick’s Jewelry also features a changing collection of estate jewelry and vintage brooches, many with interesting stories behind them.
“A customer years ago inspired me to carry a line of replacement stones,” Belzer explained. “Now, I have that line here.”
Beyond jewelry, the store is well known for its large clock collection. “Rick is probably the only clock repairman in town,” said Belzer.
Whether you want to restore a family heirloom or find a unique piece, Rick’s Jewelry provides a welcoming, hands-on experience.
“Please come visit us,” Belzer invited. “We are open Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and we would love to see you.”
