The Armenian Jewelers Association (AJA) and TUMO Studios have announced a new partnership to support the next generation of jewelry designers and artisans in Armenia. The collaboration aims to provide young creatives, jewelry professionals, and business owners with specialized training, mentorship, and career development opportunities.
The partnership brings together AJA’s global network of industry leaders and TUMO Studios’ hands-on educational model. Together, they plan to offer workshops, courses, seminars, and mentoring sessions at TUMO Studios in Yerevan. These programs will be led by experienced jewelers, manufacturers, and experts from both Armenia and abroad.
Participants will gain practical skills in jewelry design and production. They will also learn about industry trends, branding, and how to grow a jewelry business. The training is designed to help them succeed in a competitive and evolving market.
The program will also provide valuable networking opportunities. Students will be able to meet and learn from professionals in the jewelry industry. These connections may open doors to internships, jobs, and partnerships both locally and internationally.
The Armenian Jewelers Association, founded in 1997, is a global network that connects Armenian professionals in the jewelry sector. The organization promotes industry growth, mentorship, and collaboration. It is led by President Ivette Nersesyan Stephanopoulos and a 17-member Global Board.
TUMO Studios is an educational program launched by the Simonian Educational Foundation in Yerevan. It offers free training in design and craftsmanship. Students learn practical skills through courses and workshops in areas such as ceramics, jewelry, printing, fashion, embroidery, and product design. The program emphasizes real-world experience and guidance from experts in the field.
This partnership marks a new step in supporting Armenia’s creative talent and strengthening the country’s presence in the global jewelry industry.
