Angola is exploring new opportunities to supply diamonds to the luxury jeweler Tiffany & Co. This move aims to boost cooperation between the two parties in the diamond industry.
In early June 2025, Angola’s Minister of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, Diamantino Azevedo, met with representatives from Tiffany & Co. During the meeting, they discussed ways to collaborate and improve Angola’s position in the global diamond market.
As one of Africa’s largest diamond producers, Angola plans to increase its diamond output. The government is encouraging new investments and development projects to support this growth.
Angola aims to raise its diamond production to 17.5 million carats by 2027. This target reflects the country’s commitment to expanding its role in the diamond sector.
The partnership with Tiffany & Co. could help Angola achieve these goals and strengthen its ties with international buyers.
