As spring brings warmer weather and rain, EMPHASIS Jewellery has launched a new collection called Bloom. The collection draws inspiration from the golden wheat plant. It highlights the plant’s strength and graceful movement. Bloom transforms the timeless beauty of nature into wearable art. It reflects the natural cycles of life’s highs and lows.
The Bloom collection builds on EMPHASIS Jewellery’s reputation for style, elegance, and innovation. Each piece shows the flowing form of wheat stalks. This is achieved through a two-step finishing process. A soft matte satin finish mimics the texture of wheat husks. Meanwhile, polished surfaces capture the shine of wheat ears in sunlight. The contrast creates a captivating play of light, shadow, and depth.
Key items include 18K rose gold diamond necklaces. These feature advanced techniques like micro-paving, pavé, and combinations of pavé with flat settings. Micro-paving uses thin metal edges to lift diamonds, resembling ears of wheat swaying in the wind. This creates a shimmering color gradient that recalls a golden field. Pavé settings mimic raindrops on wheat ears, symbolizing richness hidden beneath their curved forms.
The collection also offers rings, bracelets, ear clips, and earrings. Rose gold diamond pieces use pavé and flat settings to suggest the sparkle of morning dew on wheat ears. This imagery represents endings and new beginnings.
After its April debut, EMPHASIS Jewellery held an exclusive exhibition in late May. The event showcased four distinct styles from the Bloom collection.
Notably, singer Kary Ng made her first public appearance in ten years, having focused on family life. New mother Shiga Lin spoke about how motherhood has inspired her creativity. Rising star Aska Cheung, known from the TV singing competition Academy of the Stars, showed her bold youthful energy. Fashion influencer Mayao Ma prepared for her upcoming tour.
