Jewelers of America (JA) has officially opened the call for entries for its 2025 CASE Awards, an annual competition that honors outstanding achievements in jewelry design.
The awards are open to all employees of JA member retailers and suppliers. Entries will be accepted until June 16, 2025.
The CASE Awards—which stand for Creativity, Artistry, Style, and Excellence—celebrate original jewelry designs created by JA members. The contest provides a platform for designers to gain national recognition for their work.
This year’s edition brings several updates. Most notably, the pricing categories have been restructured and expanded. The new system aims to more accurately represent a wider range of jewelry designs and price points.
Awards will be given in eight categories, divided by both price and type of member:
Retail Members:
- Jewelry up to $5,000 retail value
- Jewelry from $5,001 to $10,000 retail value
- Jewelry from $10,001 to $20,000 retail value
- Jewelry from $20,001 to $75,000 retail value
Supplier Members:
- Jewelry up to $5,000 retail value
- Jewelry from $5,001 to $10,000 retail value
- Jewelry from $10,001 to $20,000 retail value
- Jewelry from $20,001 to $75,000 retail value
In addition to the eight primary awards, one retailer and one supplier will each be selected as “Best in Show” winners. These honors are chosen from all submissions across the competition.
Another change this year allows designers to submit multiple entries in the same category, with no limit on the number of total entries.
Amanda Gizzi, director of public relations and events at Jewelers of America, said the competition plays a vital role in celebrating industry talent.
“The CASE Awards celebrate the exceptional creativity and craftsmanship of our members by giving them the opportunity to submit original designs for national recognition,” she said.
“This competition shines a spotlight on the talent within our industry, encourages innovation, and showcases stunning jewelry that can be discovered at JA member companies.”
For more information or to submit entries, participants can visit the Jewelers of America website before the June 16 deadline.
