Summer is the season for J.Crew. Few brands capture the feeling of warm weather and sunny beaches as well as J.Crew does with its new collections. Now, J.Crew has partnered with jewelry brand Alighieri to create a collection that brings summer style all year long.
The new jewelry collection is available now on J.Crew.com. It draws inspiration from seaside adventures and vintage catalogs. This collection blends J.Crew’s classic American style with the careful craftsmanship of London-based Alighieri.
Each piece features a molten gold finish. This special look is created by Alighieri’s founder, Rosh Mahtani, using an ancient technique called lost wax casting. In this process, gold is poured into a mold made from a wax model. The wax melts away, leaving a detailed piece made of 24k gold-plated bronze.
The collection includes pendant necklaces, romantic hoop earrings, and a limited edition button-up shirt. The shirt has delicate gold buttons, each hand-carved by Mahtani in London’s historic Hatton Garden diamond district. There is also a black belt with a gold buckle and a delicate gold pendant.
These jewelry pieces are ideal for an easy summer look. They can complement a wedding guest dress or add a touch of elegance to everyday outfits.
