The 57th Istanbul Jewelry Show (IJS) came to a successful conclusion some time ago, with exhibitors from all over the world coming in an endless stream. The four-day show was held at the Istanbul Expo Center and attracted a total of 31,459 visitors from 129 countries.
The show was organized by Informa Markets and brought together 1,500 brands and companies from all over the world. Exhibitors showcased their latest jewelry collections and designs covering gold, silver, diamonds and other precious gemstones.
Compared with the show in April 2024, the number of exhibitors this year increased by 4%. Domestic visitors also showed increasing interest in the show, with the number of local visitors increasing by 14%. The show covers seven exhibition halls with a total area of 70,000 square meters.
According to the organizers, 71% of the visitors were from Turkey and 29% from other countries. International delegations came mainly from Iran, India, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, UAE, Lebanon, Russia, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Iraq, Tunisia, Jordan, Morocco, the United States, Germany, Uzbekistan and Italy.
The show also featured the IJS Tech section, which focused on jewelry manufacturing tools, equipment and machinery. The section attracted professionals interested in the industry’s technology.
In addition to product displays, the show also held a series of supporting events to support the development of the industry. These included “Jewelry Art: Inspiration Center” held in cooperation with the Jewelry Exporters Association. Other events included a jewelry design competition with the theme of “Legends”, a fashion trend seminar organized by WSGN, and creative workshops held by the Designers Club.
With the spring show coming to a successful conclusion, the jewelry industry is looking forward to the next show. The 58th Istanbul Jewelry Fair will be held again at the Istanbul Expo Center from October 1 to 4, 2025.
