Loveweld, the Austin-based brand specializing in permanent jewelry, has opened a new flagship store in the heart of downtown. Located at 632 N. Lamar Blvd., the store is set to welcome customers starting Saturday, June 21, with a grand opening event.
The new space offers an artistic environment for customers to express themselves through permanent jewelry, which, unlike tattoos, is a less painful alternative. Loveweld, known for its high-quality, hand-crafted pieces, offers custom-fitted jewelry welded directly onto the body—on the wrist, ankle, finger, or neck. Though the jewelry is permanent, it provides a unique experience without the pain of traditional tattoos.
Founded in 2020 in East Austin, Loveweld has quickly expanded to 12 locations nationwide. The opening celebration will feature local vendors including Harper Sage, Frankie Jean, Leslie Lenhard Jewelry, Lush, Claire Boston, LM Adornment, and Zen Haus Matcha Bar. Attendees can enjoy food and drinks, win giveaways, and receive 10% off select Loveweld pieces.
According to a press release, the new flagship is more than just a retail space; it’s designed to be a community hub for celebrating milestones and friendships. The store offers walk-in appointments, bookings, and even private party reservations.
Loveweld founder Sarah Sides expressed excitement about the new location: “After five years on the East Side of Austin, we feel like we are putting down roots downtown. Our flagship studio is more than just a store; it’s a place for people to gather, celebrate, and create lasting memories.”
To receive a piece of Loveweld jewelry, customers can either walk in or schedule an appointment. After selecting the style of jewelry—whether a ring, bracelet, anklet, or necklace—a certified welder will custom fit and permanently weld the piece. There are no clasps or hooks, ensuring the jewelry stays on for good.
Loveweld only uses hypoallergenic materials like 14-karat solid gold and sterling silver, and each piece comes with a lifetime warranty, including complimentary repairs and resizing. Customers can also update their jewelry with charms or chain adjustments, allowing flexibility in their permanent choice.
Pricing starts at $38 for rings, $88 for bracelets, $128 for anklets, and $168 for necklaces. Additional charms are priced at $38.
The new flagship store will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
